Double Decker Monty Route

The Monty Route in the new tour in the season of 2019. It will allow to enjoy breathtaking views from the top deck of the comfortable, safe, passenger friendly and fully certified (safety wise) Double Decker bus. The day will start from the picking you up from your location and bringing you to the meeting point. Then all the guests will load the bus and we will start our journey. The first stop of our Monty Route Tour will be Saklikent Gorge or Saklikent Canyon. It is the perfect place to cool off. So take your time to relax in the shade of leafy groves by the waterside or cross the river to walk into the gorge which is 18 km long and 300m deep. Also you can do simple rafting in cold freezing waters of Saklikent Gorge where it takes about 30-35 minutes with professional guide, it is absolutely fun and eligible for ages from 5 to 70, but should be booked before arrival to the Saklikent Canyon and also it is a subject for extra fee. Another great opportunity for good fun is mud bath - laughing, splashing and muddy creations are the treats in store for you here followed by a riverside rinse in the cool waters (entrance is free). After the chill out, fun and laugh we will invite you for a lunch. You will have 3 lunch options - the chicken, omelette and pancake. Chicken and omelette will be serving with fresh salads, pasta or chips, drinks should be paid extra. After the lunch we will go to the ancient city of Xanthos where our guide will be giving you lots of interesting facts about ancient Lycia. When we arrive to Xanthos, there will be great photo opportunity for you from our Double Decker. Actually we will not be entering ancient city, just taking the pictures. Next stop is Patara National Park where you will be having lots of free time. Patara beach is stunning and makes an enjoyable visit as well as the nearby ancient site of ancient city of Patara, with its gorgeous landscape and great swimming. There is a key biodiversity area which is rich in bird life and the breeding ground of the endangered loggerhead turtle (caretta caretta) in the part of a national park. Luckily the beach has been declared off-limits for development because of the turtles. After Patara Beach 45 minutes later we stop on the way back to Fethiye at the petrol station for coffee break for 20 — 25 minutes.
